![]() This fee is assessed at the time of testing. The KnowToDrive Nevada written exam charges a $6.75 fee each time the exam is taken. The initial fee covers both written and drive tests for any combination of license classes or endorsements that are paid for at the same time. The DMV charges a Testing Fee of $25 for a first-time knowledge and skills test and $10 for all retests. Skills tests will be canceled if there is no responsible party available to supervise small children. Please do not leave your children unattended while you take a skills test. Vehicles must be properly registered and insured. The examiner will perform a safety inspection on your vehicle and check your registration and insurance.
